RHYTHMS WITHIN unleashes the ancient power of
music to spark the creative fires that impact the bottom
line. Drum circles plus Guided Imagery and Music
(G.I.M.) encourage participants to discover how their
unique creativity relates to the organization and its
goals. Best of all, no previous musical experience is
needed.RHYTHMS WITHIN seeks to activate an individual's
"creative core," paving pathways to personal and
professional growth. Group experiences promote the
development of a more innovative and confident
individual by suspending the inner critic and building
team skills.

Use Drum Circles For:
- Team building
- Clarifying group dynamics
- Stimulating creativity
- Reducing stress/increasing energy
- Risk-taking
RHYTHMS WITHIN drum circles offer a way to flex and tone creative muscles in a
fun, failure-free atmosphere. Drumming and rhythmic games provide the opportunity to
create original, powerful pieces while exploring drums and percussion instruments provided
by us. Participants learn simple drumming techniques, experience positive
physiological affects, and unite as members of a community where each is valued for their
unique contribution.
Program Ideas for Workshops, Conferences or Events:
- Opening Icebreakers: 30 minutes to 1 hour
- Full Drum Circles: 1 to 3 hours
- Energy/Creativity Breaks: 15 to 20 minutes
- Closing Activities: 15 minutes to 1 hour
Louise's energy breaks illustrate important teamwork principles to
our groups and raise overall levels of creative energy. Mentally and physically,
everyone feels more productive after one of her sessions.
- Gayle Moberg, Leo Burnett Idea Lab
I was amazed how people who were complete strangers and nervous
about expressing themselves musically so quickly fell into synch and developed comfort and
rapport with each other.

Guided Imagery and Music (G.I.M.) accesses the creative
unconscious that guides conscious life. The self-discovery that comes from G.I.M.
can generate growth, clarity, transformation and vigor. It can also promote
relaxation and self-confidence, tools that lead to a more effective and flexible team. RHYTHMS
WITHIN uses G.I.M. in group settings to uncover the diverse dimensions of the individual
and provide an opportunity to reach into the creative well that exists deep within.
Choose to focus on leadership, problem solving, hearing the wise inner voice, or
creativity.
The G.I.M. experience involves listening to selected music in a relaxed state
to elicit mental imagery from the deeper conscious self. The images may include
visual pictures, emotions, memories, or physical sensations reflective of one's unique
life journey. The use of art and other techniques are often used in the process of
integrating and understanding new insights.
I found the G.I.M. experience to be real, true and powerful.
It enabled my group to get in touch with unconscious and archetypal information without
having to use language or what usually speak of as thinking.

Drumming and G.I.M. experiences can be tailored to suit your
goals as single experiences or paired together for the ultimate in personal expansion.
Use drumming first to energize, team-build and inspire, then shift into the deeper
more introspective G.I.M. to access the creative self or experience innovative
problem-solving techniques. RHYTHMS WITHIN will custom design each process to meet
the specific goals of each organization. Learn
